Avelo Airlines has extended its booking schedule through April 20, 2027, giving Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport travelers more time to plan spring trips. The move opens up additional dates across the carrier’s network, including its nonstop service from SRQ to Tweed-New Haven Airport in Connecticut and seasonal nonstops to Wilmington Airport in Delaware beginning November 2026. Introductory one-way fares start at $42 on select flights and dates.
For Suncoast residents with family in the Northeast or snowbirds planning the return trip north, the longer booking window means earlier access to seats and potentially better pricing. Avelo’s Trevor Yealy, who leads network and revenue for the airline, said the extended schedule is designed to let travelers begin planning spring vacations and weekend trips sooner rather than waiting for dates to open up closer in.
One important note: the April 2027 date reflects how far out you can book, not a guarantee that every SRQ route operates continuously through that period. Seasonal service like the Wilmington flights runs on a set calendar, so it’s worth confirming your specific travel dates before committing. Avelo launched scheduled service in April 2021 and has since flown more than 10 million passengers, with its Central Florida network now reaching 12 destinations through six Florida airports.
