14-Year-Old Arrested After Knife Incident at Morgan High School in Hillsborough County

A 14-year-old student at Morgan High School in Hillsborough County was arrested Monday, October 5, after deputies say he brought a knife to campus and used it during a fight. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the altercation happened around 7:57 a.m., just before the school day began, and involved several students.

Deputies say the teen hit another student, then pulled a knife from his pocket and followed one of the students involved in the fight. He was taken into custody and faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a weapon on school property, and battery. The sheriff’s office says the investigation is still ongoing, and no additional details about what sparked the fight have been released.
