Usher and Chris Brown Cancel Four Tour Dates, Including Columbia Stadium Show

Usher and Chris Brown fans in four cities woke up to bad news this weekend. The Columbia, Baltimore, Cincinnati and Indianapolis stops were removed from the tour website on Friday, including a Oct. 29 date at Williams-Brice Stadium. Ticketmaster notified buyers with a short message: “Event canceled. Unfortunately, the event organizer has had to cancel your event.” Refunds are expected within three weeks.

No official reason has been given for the cancellations, and the tour has not announced whether any of the dates will be rescheduled. The timing is notable, though. The BBC reports Chris Brown is expected in London for sentencing on Oct. 26 after pleading guilty in a 2023 nightclub attack, just days before the Columbia show was set to take place. Neither the tour nor Ticketmaster has connected the two.

For Suncoast music fans, the takeaway is simple: if you bought tickets, your refund should come automatically through Ticketmaster, so no action is needed on your end. If you had travel booked around the show, start those cancellation calls now. Were you planning to catch this tour, or did you already have tickets to one of the canceled dates?
