Hilary Swank is 52 and pregnant with her third child. The Oscar-winning actress shared the news on social media with a video of her family dancing around the living room with glowsticks taped to their arms and legs, the camera eventually landing on her baby bump. Her caption played off the questions she keeps getting about her career: a lot of people have been asking what project she’s doing next, and this one releases in December.
It’s her third child. Swank and her husband welcomed twins Aya and Ohm in 2023, when she was 49. She’s been candid about what the timing has meant for her, saying that if she’d had a kid in her 20s or 30s, she’d be a much different parent than she is now. That’s a sentiment plenty of families around Sarasota, Bradenton, and the barrier islands understand, whether they started young, started over, or stepped in to raise grandchildren.
Swank won best actress Oscars for Boys Don’t Cry and Million Dollar Baby, and she’s spent the last few years talking about protecting time with her kids over chasing the next role. Now there’s a third one arriving before the year is out.
