Kyle Chrisley, the son of reality television personality Todd Chrisley, has pleaded guilty to resisting arrest in connection with a December 20, 2025 incident that began when his wife called police. According to reports, she described him as “belligerent,” and when officers arrived, Chrisley allegedly punched multiple officers during the encounter.
He was initially arrested on five charges, including assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct, domestic assault, public intoxication, and resisting arrest. As part of the resolution, only the resisting arrest charge stuck — the remaining charges were dismissed, according to Us Magazine. Chrisley was released on an $88,500 bond, arraigned in July, and entered his plea during a September hearing.
The Chrisley family name has long been a fixture in reality TV, and legal troubles within the family have drawn national attention before. For Suncoast listeners, the case is another reminder of how quickly a domestic disturbance call can escalate and how the first moments with responding officers can shape the entire legal outcome.
