Amazon Prime members have a new reason to feel a little better at the gas pump. Starting October 2, 2026, Prime members can save 20 cents per gallon at participating bp, Amoco, ampm, and Thorntons stations nationwide. The offer runs through January 29, 2027, which means it covers the entire holiday travel season here on the Suncoast.
To get the discount, you’ll need to create or link a free Earnify account, which is bp’s loyalty program. Earnify already gives members 5 cents off per gallon, and Prime members get an extra 5 cents on top of that. When you stack the limited-time 20-cent promo, the savings add up quickly. A typical 15-gallon fill-up saves you about three dollars, and if you’re filling up weekly, that’s real money over four months.
Even after the promotion ends, Prime members still save 10 cents per gallon through the regular Earnify and Prime benefits. The sign-up takes just a couple of minutes online, and once your accounts are linked, the discount applies automatically at participating stations. For snowbirds heading back north or locals making trips to Tampa and beyond, it’s a simple way to keep a few extra bucks in your pocket.
