Baby Brezza has recalled about 29,000 SuperFast Sterilizer Dryers after the Consumer Product Safety Commission determined the appliances can overheat and pose a burn hazard. The recall was announced November 5. The CPSC has received 32 reports of overheating or melting plastic housings. No injuries have been reported, and the remedy for owners is straightforward: contact Baby Brezza for a free replacement.
The affected models are BRZ0083, BRZ0154 and BRZ0156, sold between January 2024 and October 2026 at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, babybrezza.com, target.com and babylist.com. That means a lot of Suncoast families could have one of these on the kitchen counter right now. The model number is printed on the bottom of the unit, so a quick flip is all it takes to find out. Owners should stop using the dryer function and unplug the device before calling.
Recalls like this one are a good reason to double-check any baby gear you buy secondhand or at a discount outlet, especially with holiday shopping coming up. A free replacement is the easy part; the important part is knowing whether your machine is on the list. Do you check recall listings before buying baby gear, or is this a step most of us skip?
