Actor Keegan Allen, known for his role on “Pretty Little Liars,” says two masked men robbed him at gunpoint and knifepoint in a West Hollywood parking lot Thursday night. The 37-year-old said the men took his watch, threatened to kill him, and struck him in the head with a gun. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed a robbery call came in around 9:05 p.m. in the 8400 block of Santa Monica Boulevard but did not identify Allen as the victim.
Allen shared video of his bloodied face and what appears to be security footage of the attack on Instagram, telling followers he suspected a concussion. His post carried a blunt message: “Robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint by two young men that threatened to KILL me over my watch and would have! God said no tonight. My life for a watch.”
While the incident happened clear across the country, it raises a familiar question for Suncoast residents, especially as season picks up and more of us are out in parking lots and on the water after dark. Awareness is free, and it travels. Have you changed how you handle late-night errands or walks to the car? Tell us in the comments.
