Patrick Clancy, whose three young children were killed in 2023, will give his first public interview this Sunday on “60 Minutes” at 7 p.m. ET on CBS. The interview comes just weeks after a Massachusetts judge declared a mistrial in the murder case against his ex-wife, Lindsay Clancy, when jurors could not reach agreement on whether she was criminally responsible or acted because of postpartum psychosis.
The mistrial leaves the case unresolved. Prosecutors had argued Lindsay Clancy acted deliberately, while her defense said postpartum psychosis left her unable to control her behavior. Because the jury deadlocked, prosecutors retain the option to retry the case, and a conviction could have carried life in prison without parole.
