AUTHORITIES ARE LOOKING FOR THE MAN WHO ROBBED A SOUTH VENICE BANK.  SARASOTA COUNTY DEPUTIES SAID THE HEIST OCCURRED JUST BEFORE 3:30 THURSDAY AFTERNOON AT THE WACHOVIA BANK AT 1301 SOUTH US 41 BYPASS.  WITNESSES SAY THE SUSPECT ENTERED THE BANK AND PASSED A NOTE TO THE TELLER DEMANDING MONEY.  THE SUSPECT IS DESCRIBED AS A WHITE MAN IN HIS LATE TWENTIES OR EARLY THIRTIES, ABOUT FIVE FEET NINE INCHES TALL, MEDIUM BUILD WITH BROWN HAIR.  HE WAS WEARING A DARK BALL CAP, A CAMOUFLAGE PULLOVER SHIRT, AND BLUE JEANS.  HE WAS LAST SEEN HEADING NORTH ON US 41 IN A GREY OR GOLD BUICK RENDEVOUS, POSSIBLY WITH OUT OF STATE TAGS.  ANYONE WITH INFORMATION IS ENCOURAGED TO CALL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS AT 861-4952, OR LEAVE AN ANONYMOUS TIP WITH CRIME STOPPERS, EITHER BY PHONE AT 366-TIPS, OR ONLINE AT WWW.SARASOTACRIMESTOPPERS.COM.
