AN ENGLEWOOD WOMAN WAS SLIGHTLY INJURED AFTER SHE WAS HIT BY A VEHICLE WEDNESDAY MORNING.  THE FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL SAYS 46 YEAR OLD MICHAEL ROWLEY OF ENGLEWOOD WAS WESTBOUND ON DEARBORN STREET IN THE LEFT TURN LANE APPROACHING INDIANA AVENUE AT AROUND 9:15AM.  HE HAD A SOLID GREEN LIGHT AND TURNED HIS FORD EXPEDITION LEFT INTO THE PATH OF 73 YEAR OLD GERALDINE KOZAR, WHO WAS WALKING WESTBOUND CROSSING INDIANA IN THE MARKED CROSSWALK WITH A PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL.  KOZAR WAS TAKEN TO ENGLEWOOD COMMUNITY HOSPITAL WITH MINOR INJURIES WHILE ROWLEY WAS NOT INJURED.  TROOPERS SAY ALCOHOL WAS NOT A FACTOR, AND THEY SIGHTED ROWLEY FOR VIOLATION OF THE RIGHT OF WAY.
