Hurricane Dorian gained strength in the Atlantic Wednesday night, and millions of people in Florida are getting ready for its impact. Dorian is expected to become a major hurricane on Friday, and remain an extremely dangerous hurricane through the weekend,” the National Hurricane Center said Thursday morning.
The National Hurricane Center Reports are that Dorian could be a Category 4 storm when it makes landfall The storm could have maximum sustained winds of 130 mph. A State of Emergency has been declared in Florida and counties are making preparations.
South West Florida is predicted to be within the forecasted cone at this time.
