THE SARASOTA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SAYS A DEPUTY FOUND A MISSING 12 YEAR OLD BOY WHO RAN AWAY YESTERDAY MORNING AS HIS MOTHER WAS DRIVING HIM TO SCHOOL. DEPUTIES SAY SIXTH GRADER BRIGHAM CONRAD BOLTED EAST ON FOREST LANE IN SARASOTA ONLY WEARING SHORTS, SHOES AND A BUZZ LIGHTYEAR BACKPACK. A DEPUTY SPOTTED CONRAD AT AROUND 6:30 THIS MORNING IN THE AREA OF 17TH STREET AND BENEVA ROAD. SHERIFF’S SPOKESWOMAN WENDY ROSE SAID CONRAD WAS OK BUT SHE COULD NOT SAY IF HE WAS RETURNED TO THE FAMILY AS THAT IS A PRIVATE MATTER.
