MOM BRINGS SON TO CRACK SALE

A PORT CHARLOTTE WOMAN WAS ARRESTED AFTER SHE SOLD CRACK COCAINE TO AN UNDERCOVER DETECTIVE AND BROUGHT ALONG HER NINE YEAR OLD SON.  CHARLOTTE COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY 38 YEAR OLD ROBIN BRODERICK MET WITH THE OPERATIVE AROUND 6PM TUESDAY IN THE PARKING LOT OF THE SAM’S CLUB ON MURDOCK CIRCLE AND EXCHANGE ONE AND A HALF GRAMS OF CRACK FOR MONEY.  WHEN SHE WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY, DETECTIVES FOUND SEVEN TENTHS OF A GRAM OF COCAINE IN HER BRA.  DETECTIVES SAID THEY HAD MET WITH BRODERICK ON TWO PREVIOUS DRUG BUYS IN JULY AND AUGUST AND PURCHASED COCAINE AND OXYCODONE PILLS FROM HER.  BRODERICK WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL ON ELEVEN TOTAL CHARGES, INCLUDING CHILD ABUSE AND SALE AND DELIVERY OF COCAINE WITHIN A THOUSAND FEET OF PORT CHARLOTTE HIGH SCHOOL.  SINCE HER CADILLAC WAS USED IN TWO OF THE THREE DRUG SALES, DETECTIVES SEIZED THE CAR FOR FORFEITURE PROCEEDINGS.  BRODERICK IS BEING HELD WITHOUT BOND.
