A PUNTA GORDA HOME WAS RAIDED FRIDAY MORNING AND THE FATHER AND SON WHO LIVE THERE HAD A NEW ADDRESS FOR A TIME…THE COUNTY LOCK UP.  DEPUTIES SAY THEY HAD TO FORCE THEIR WAY INTO THE HOME ON ROMA COURT JUST BEFORE 6:30AM WITH A SEARCH WARRANT AFTER 55 YEAR OLD ROBERT NICHOLAS THE THIRD AND HIS SON, ROBERT THE FOURTH DID NOT ANSWER.  THE FATHER TOLD DETECTIVES THAT THEY WOULDN’T FIND ANYTHING IN THE HOME SINCE HE GOT RID OF EVERYTHING WHEN HE NOTICED HE WAS BEING WATCHED.  WELL, HE DIDN’T QUITE GET RID OF EVERYTHING AS DETECTIVES FOUND MARIJUANA ON A DRESSER IN THE BEDROOM, AND A SEARCH OF THE TWO CAR GARAGE FOUND TWO GLASS SMOKING PIPES AND A PLASTIC BAGGIE WITH METHAPHETAMINE RESIDUE.  BOTH MEN WERE ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES AND RELEASED AFTER POSTING BOND.  THE JAIL IS A PLACE THEY ARE BOTH FAMILIAR WITH AS THIS WAS DAD’S ELEVENTH BOOKING, WHILE HIS SON HAS BEEN BOOKED EIGHT TIMES.
