TWO PEOPLE WERE INJURED, ONE SERIOUSLY, IN AN ACCIDENT ON THE INTERSTATE EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. THE FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL SAYS 27 YEAR OLD ANDRIANE ONTOG OF NORTH PORT WAS SOUTHBOUND IN THE OUTSIDE LANE OF I-75 AT AROUND 7AM SUNDAY WHEN HER HONDA CIVIC LEFT THE ROADWAY AND HIT SOME SHRUBBERY OFF OF THE SHOULDER AND OVERTURNED. ONTOG WAS TAKEN TO BAYFRONT MEDICAL CENTER IN ST. PETERSBURG IN SERIOUS CONDITION, WHILE A PASSENGER, 28 YEAR OLD RYAN WORLEY OF NORTH PORT, WAS TAKEN TO VENICE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER WITH MINOR INJURIES. TROOPERS SAY ALCOHOL WAS NOT INVOLVED AND BOTH WERE WEARING THEIR SEAT BELTS. THERE’S NO WORD IF CHARGES WILL BE FILED.
