TWO PEOPLE WANTED FOR ROBBERY AND GRAND THEFT OF A PUNTA GORDA MAN IN ENGLEWOOD LAST MONTH ARE BACK IN CHARLOTTE COUNTY AFTER BEING ARRESTED IN OSCEOLA COUNTY.  DEPUTIES SAY CARL BROWN ASKED THE BREAD OF LIFE MISSION IN PUNTA GORDA FOR TWO PEOPLE TO HELP HIS LOAD ABOUT 2000 WATERMELONS.  41 YEAR OLD JANEEN CAMPBELL AND 38 YEAR OLD TERRY WOODRUM WERE DRIVEN TO BROWN’S HOME ON JUNE 15TH AND LOADED HIS TRUCK AND TRAILER.  THE NEXT DAY ALL THREE DROVE TO ENGLEWOOD TO SELL THEM, AND THEY SPENT THE NIGHT AT A CONDO AT ANGLER’S RESORT.  DEPUTIES WERE CALLED OUT THAT NIGHT AND FOUND BROWN BLEEDING, AND HE TOLD THEM HE WAS HIT IN THE FACE WITH A PIPE AND ROBBED OF THE $1100 DOLLARS HE RECEIVED FOR THE WATERMELONS.  DEPUTIES SAID BROWN REFUSED TREATMENT AND WAS TOO DRUNK TO GIVE DETAILS, BUT HE CALLED THEM TWO DAYS LATER AFTER HE ALSO FOUND A GENERATOR AND CHAIN SAW WAS MISSING ALONG WITH HIS TRUCK.  CAMPBELL AND WOODRUM WERE ARRESTED AT A WALMART IN ST. CLOUD ON THE WARRANTS ISSUED, AND THEY ARE BOTH IN THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL, CHARGED WITH ROBBERY AND GRAND THEFT.  BROWN’S TRUCK WAS RECOVERED IN GLADES COUNTY.
