A PUNTA GORDA WOMAN WAS ARRESTED TUESDAY AFTER DETECTIVES SAW HER LEAVE A KNOWN DRUG HOUSE.  NARCOTICS DETECTIVES SAY AS THEY APPROACHED 28 YEAR OLD ARLINA ROMERO, SHE TURNED AND BEGAN TO TAKE OFF AS IF SHE WAS GOING TO RUN.  THE DEPUTY SAID IN HIS REPORT THAT ROMERO ALSO SEEMED TO BE TRYING TO HIDE SOMETHING IN THE CROTCH AREA IN HER PANTS.  THE REPORT SAYS SHE HAD HER HAND DEEP INSIDE HER JEANS, AND WHEN THE DEPUTY CALLED OUT TO HER SHE PULLED HER HAND OUT AS SHE TURNED TO FACE HIM.  SHE CONSENTED TO AN INITIAL SEARCH, WHICH YIELDED A CREDIT CARD THAT BELONGED TO SOMEONE ELSE.  ROMERO WAS TAKEN IN FOR QUESTIONING AND ASKED IF SHE WAS HIDING ANYTHING IN HER PANTS.  SHE ADMITTED THAT SHE HAD A CRACK PIPE HIDDEN IN HER PRIVATE PARTS.  A FEMALE DEPUTY REMOVED THE SIX INCH GLASS CRACK PIPE, WHICH TESTED POSITIVE FOR COCAINE.  ROMERO WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.  SHE IS BEING HELD WITHOUT BOND.
