Tammy Bishop and Will Mulroy married October 20 at the Viva Las Vegas Chapel. It was a celebration with a party bus and a walk down the Strip, the kind of night couples save up for. Somewhere in it all, Will’s ring, two sizes too big after he’d lost weight, slipped off his hand. He realized it at a bar, teared up on the spot, and the couple searched with the bus driver and never found it.
Three days after the wedding, Will was declared brain dead at a hospital and died. The couple had met in July 2023 and started dating in March 2024, just a week before a motorcycle accident left him paralyzed. Tammy says she reassured him at the time that they’d buy a new ring. Now she says the original is everything, and she is asking strangers in Las Vegas to keep an eye out for it.
It’s a long shot, but our region knows a thing or two about long shots. If you know someone in Vegas, share this. If you’ve ever lost a keepsake that mattered, you know what she’s holding onto. Have you ever lost something irreplaceable and gotten it back? Tell us in the comments.
