DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office Recognizes National Police Women’s Day

SHARE NOW
DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office will recognize National Police Women’s Day by honoring the incredible women who serve and protect at the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office. 🌟👮‍♀️
Throughout our history at DCSO, women have played vital roles in serving and protecting our community. In 1965, Inez Holton was appointed Sheriff by Governor Burns after her husband, Sheriff Lloyd Holton, passed away. In her role, she demonstrated dedication and leadership, paving the way for future generations of women in law enforcement.
Today, Sheriff Potter and the entire DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office continue to value and honor the women who dedicate themselves to maintaining peace and ensuring the safety of our community. 💙🚓
