TWO ENGLEWOOD BROTHERS WERE SERIOUSLY INJURED IN A MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT IN VENICE SATURDAY AFTERNOON.  THE FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL SAYS 20 YEAR OLD DMITRIJS POLISCUKS WAS NORTHBOUND ON US 41 APPROACHING SEMINOLE DRIVE JUST BEFORE 4:30PM.  48 YEAR OLD BIRNEY ODELL OF VENICE WAS ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A LEFT TURN ONTO SEMINOLE FROM SOUTHBOUND 41 WHEN HIS CHEVY SILVERADO COLLIDED WITH POLISCUKS MOTORCYCLE.  THE IMPACT THREW BOTH POLISCUKS AND HIS 19 YEAR OLD BROTHER DENISS TO THE GROUND AFTER THEY RAN INTO THE CURB AND A LIGHT POLE.  DMITRIJS POLISCUKS WAS BAYFLIGHTED TO BAYFRONT MEDICAL CENTER IN ST. PETERSBURG IN SERIOUS CONDITION, WHILE DENISS WAS TAKEN TO VENICE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER, ALSO IN SERIOUS CONDITION.  ODELL AND HIS SON ZACHARY WERE NOT INJURED.  TROOPERS SAY THE BROTHERS WERE WEARING THEIR HELMETS, AND THEY SAY THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED AFTER THE LIGHT TURNED RED IN BOTH DIRECTIONS, MEANING BOTH DRIVERS COULD FACES CHARGES.
