SHARE NOW

A REPORT FROM THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SAYS THE AUTOPSY ON 29 YEAR OLD JENNIFER SIMPSON HAS BEEN COMPLETED.  NO CAUSE OF DEATH HAS BEEN DETERMINED AND THE MEDICAL EXAMINER IS NOW AWAITING RESULTS OF A TOXICOLOGY REPORT WHICH CAN TAKE SOME TIME.  DETECTIVES HAVE SAID THEY DO NOT SUSPECT FOUL PLAY.  SIMPSON’S AUNT, ELIZABETH HILL OF PORT CHARLOTTE HAD CALLED THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE AT ABOUT 7:15 PM TUESDAY, JUNE 21ST TO REPORT SIMPSON MISSING.  SHE TOLD DETECTIVES SIMPSON HAD LEFT THE NIGHT BEFORE AFTER BEING ON A TWO DAY DRINKING BINGE. SHE SAID SIMPSON LEFT HOME WEARING PAJAMAS AND TOOK HER DRIVER’S LICENSE AND DEBIT CARD, BUT NOT HER PURSE.  DETECTIVES LOCATED 7 EMPTY VODKA BOTTLES IN SIMPSON’S BEDROOM. AFTER THE REPORT WAS TAKEN, CHARLOTTE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SENT OUT A “BE ON THE LOOKOUT” TO LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES IN A 9 COUNTY AREA.  SIMPSONS BODY WAS FOUND LATE FRIDAY NIGHT AFTER CUSTOMERS AT WALMART REPORTED A FOUL ODOR COMING FROM A CAR. THE REPORT DOES NOT SAY WHETHER OR NOT ANY ALCOHOL WAS FOUND IN THE CAR.
