SARASOTA COUNTY CHILDREN WILL RECEIVE FREE BOOKS, THANKS TO A GRANT FROM WE GIVE BOOKS, THE NEW ONLINE CHILDREN’S READING COMMUNITY. THE BOOKS WILL BE DELIVERED AT 9AM THIS FRIDAY, MARCH 18TH DURING A READING CELEBRATION AT ENGLEWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, 150 NORTH MCCALL ROAD. THE WE GIVE BOOKS READMOBILE TOUR IS DRIVING ACROSS THE STATE TO SHARE THE JOY OF READING AND THE POWER OF GIVING. IT’S PART OF THE MONTH-LONG CAMPAIGN TO ENGAGE FLORIDIANS IN READING ONLINE AND TO HELP PUT BOOKS IN THE HANDS OF CHILDREN IN FLORIDA WHO DON’T HAVE THEM. SARASOTA COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER JANE GOODWIN WILL BE AMONG THOSE IN ATTENDANCE.
