AN ENGLEWOOD MAN HAS COME FORWARD TO CLAIM HIS PORTION OF THE PRIZE HANDED OUT BY THE FLORIDA STATE LOTTERY FOR SUNDAY NIGHT’S FANTASY FIVE DRAWING.  61 YEAR OLD EDWARD ZUBAL BOUGHT HIS TICKET AT THE SWEETBAY BACK ON JUNE 20TH SINCE HE ALWAYS PLAYS THE SAME NUMBERS.  HE WOKE UP MONDAY MORNING, CHECKED THE PAPER, AND IN HIS WORDS IN THE SUN, WAS ASTOUNDED TO FIND THAT HIS FIVE NUMBERS WERE THE ONES DRAWN.  THE WINNER’S SHARE WAS A LITTLE OVER $85,000, AND AFTER TAKING CARE OF UNCLE SAM, ZUBAL WILL GET A TOUCH OVER $64,000.  ZUBAL SAYS HE PLANS TO GIVE A CHECK FOR $500 TO THE RETIRED AND SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM IN CHARLOTTE COUNTY.  HE VOLUNTEERS AS A FRIENDSHIP AT HOME CARETAKER WITH THE CHARLOTTE SENIOR FRIENDSHIP CENTER, REGULARLY VISITING A 92 YEAR OLD WOMAN WHO WAS IN LABOR CAMPS IN WORLD WAR II.  ZUBAL RETIRED TEN YEARS AGO FROM FORD AND MOVED TO ENGLEWOOD.  HE IS ALSO A CITIZENS OBSERVATION PATROL SURVEILLANCE UNIT VOLUNTEER WITH THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.
