THE OWNER OF AN ENGLEWOOD BUSINESS WAS ARRESTED WEDNESDAY AFTER UNDERCOVER DETECTIVES FOUND SHE WAS PROSTITUTING HERSELF OUT OF HER MASSAGE BUSINESS.  CHARLOTTE COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY THEY RECEIVED NUMEROUS TIPS THAT 36 YEAR OLD MICHELE CHAMBERLAIN OF GARDENS OF GULF COVE WAS PERFORMING SEXUAL ACTS ON HER CUSTOMERS, AND SHE ADVERTISED ON SEVERAL WEBSITES AS AN ESCORT AND SEVERAL BLOG PAGES REGARDING HER BUSINESS.  A NARCOTICS DETECTIVE CALLED FOR AN APPOINTMENT AND WENT TO MICHELLE’S THERAPY ON SOUTH ACCESS ROAD AT AROUND 1PM WEDNESDAY.  CHAMBERLAIN REPORTEDLY LET HIM IN, LOCKED THE FRONT AND REAR DOOR, AND TOLD HIM TO LIE ON THE TABLE FOR A MASSAGE.  CONVERSATION WAS MADE ABOUT A DEEPER MASSAGE FOR $65 AND THE UNDERCOVER DETECTIVE AGREED.  CHAMBERLAIN THEN ALLEGEDLY GRABBED THE DETECTIVE AT WHICH TIME HE IMMEDIATELY STOPPED THE ACTIVITY AND IDENTIFIED HIMSELF.  HE UNLOCKED THE DOOR AND LET OTHER DETECTIVES IN TO ARREST CHAMBERLAIN.  SHE WAS CHARGED WITH DERIVING SUPPORT FROM THE PROCEEDS OF PROSTITUTION AND SOLICITATION OF COMMIT PROSTITUTION.  SHE WAS RELEASED AFTER POSTING A $3500 BOND.
