SHARE NOW

A PORT CHARLOTTE MAN WAS ARRESTED AFTER AN ALERT NEIGHBOR NOTIFIED A HOMEOWNER THAT HIS HOUSE HAD BEEN BROKEN INTO.  CHARLOTTE COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY THE NEIGHBOR SAW DOGS OUTSIDE THE HOME WHICH SIGNALED SOMETHING WAS AMISS.  THE COUPLE WAS HAVING THANKSGIVING DINNER AT THEIR FAMILY’S HOUSE WHEN THE NEIGHBOR CALLED.  THEY QUICKLY HEADED HOME AND OBSERVED THAT TWO LAPTOPS, JEWELRY AND CIGARETTES WERE MISSING.  THEY CALLED DEPUTIES WHO CAUGHT UP WITH THE BURGLAR, RONALD DENMAN, AFTER HE TRIED TO SELL THE COMPUTERS TO SOMEONE.  THAT PERSON GOT SUSPICIOUS AND CALLED DEPUTIES.  DENMAN WAS CHARGED WITH BURGLARY, GRAND THEFT, AND DEALING IN STOLEN PROPERTY.  HE WAS TAKEN TO THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL.
