A ROUTINE TRAFFIC STOP ON BEACH ROAD IN ENGLEWOOD WAS ANYTHING BUT ROUTINE WEDNESDAY AS TWO PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED. CHARLOTTE COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY THEY FOUND THREE COOKIE TINS OF MARIJUANA BROWNIES WITH A TOTAL WEIGHT OF 655 GRAMS ALONG WITH GREEN LEAFY PIECES THAT TESTED POSITIVE FOR POT. THE DRIVER, 26 YEAR OLD MICHAEL WILLIAMSON AND PASSENGER, 21 YEAR OLD GWENDOLYNN HANISCH, BOTH OF PORT CHARLOTTE, WERE TAKEN TO THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL AFTER THE DEPUTY FOUND THE BROWNIES AND TWO GLASS PIPES. AT THE JAIL HANISCH CONSENTED TO A STRIP SEARCH AND CORRECTIONS OFFICERS RECOVERED A CRUMPLED UP PIECE OF ALUMINUM FOIL CONTAINING WHAT IS BELIEVED TO BE LSD ALONG WITH TWO SANDWICH BAGGIES OF MARIJUANA IN HER VAGINA. BOTH WILLIAMSON AND HANISCH WERE ARRESTED ON POSSESSION OF MORE THAN 20 GRAMS OF MARIJUANA AND POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA CHARGES. HANISCH ALSO FACES AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE PENDING THE OUTCOME OF THE LAB ANALYSIS OF THE FOIL. BOTH WERE RELEASED FROM THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL AFTER POSTING $3500 BOND EACH.
