SEVEN PEOPLE WERE INJURED WHEN A VAN COLLIDED WITH A BUS IN VENICE YESTERDAY.  THE FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL SAYS 61 YEAR OLD WILLIAM SEABORNE OF ST. PETERSBURG WAS NORTHBOUND ON US 41 JUST SOUTH OF WOODMERE PARK BOULEVARD JUST AFTER 2PM WHEN HE PLOWED INTO A STOPPED SARASOTA COUNTY AREA TRANSIT BUS DROPPING OFF PASSENGERS.  SEABORNE AND THREE OF THE PASSENGERS WERE TAKEN TO VENICE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER WITH MINOR INJURIES.  THE DRIVER OF THE BUS, 63 YEAR OLD CONSTANCE WEBB OF SARASOTA AND TWO PASSENGERS WERE TAKEN TO ENGLEWOOD COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, ALSO WITH MINOR INJURIES.  SIX OTHER PEOPLE ON BOARD THE BUS WERE NOT INJURED.  TROOPERS SAY ALCOHOL WAS NOT A FACTOR, AND SEABORNE WAS CITED FOR CARELESS DRIVING.
