CHARLOTTE COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY THEY APPREHENDED A MAN WHO ROBBED A PUNTA GORDA LAUNDROMAT TWICE IN THE LAST THREE WEEKS. INVESTIGATORS DETERMINED THAT 34 YEAR OLD MARK OWEN OF PUNTA GORDA WAS THE MAN WHO BURGLARIZED THE HIGHWAY 17 COIN LAUNDRY ON DUNCAN ROAD ON JUNE 19TH AND LAST THURSDAY. A DEPUTY LOCATED OWEN AT HIS ROSEMARY DRIVE RESIDENCE WHICH IS NOT FAR FROM THE BUSINESS, AND AFTER QUESTIONING WITH DETECTIVES HE WAS CHARGED WITH BURGLARY. HE IS BEING HELD IN THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL.
