MAJOR CRIMES DETECTIVES OF THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SAY THE BODY OF A WOMAN WAS FOUND IN A HOMELESS CAMP. DEPUTIES SAY THE BODY WAS DISCOVERED JUST AFTER 2PM MONDAY BY TWO PEOPLE ABOUT FORTY YARDS OFF BELMONT AVENUE AND LIME STREET BETWEEN STATE ROAD 776 AND MURDOCK MIDDLE SCHOOL. DEPUTIES SAY THEY KNOW THE NAME OF THE 58 YEAR OLD WOMAN BUT ARE WITHHOLDING IT PENDING NOTIFICATION OF THE NEXT OF KIN. THEY DO NOT SUSPECT FOUL PLAY, BUT THE MEDICAL EXAMINER IS AWAITING TOXICOLOGY RESULTS BEFORE DETERMINING A CAUSE OF DEATH.
