AN ELDERLY SARASOTA MAN WAS INJURED AFTER HE WAS HIT BY AN SUV WHILE RIDING HIS BICYCLE IN SARASOTA YESTERDAY. THE FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL SAYS 22 YEAR OLD JESSE LIPPERT OF SARASOTA WAS EASTBOUND ON CLARK ROAD NEAR ASHTON LAKES DRIVE JUST AFTER 10:30AM WHEN HE HIT A BIKE RIDDEN BY 79 YEAR OLD CHARLES WILLIAMS. WILLIAMS WAS REPORTEDLY SOUTHBOUND ALONG THE EASTBOUND LANES OF CLARK. WILLIAMS WAS AIRLIFTED TO TAMPA GENERAL HOSPITAL IN SERIOUS CONDITION. LIPPERT WAS NOT INJURED. TROOPERS SAY CHARGES ARE PENDING THE COMPLETION OF THEIR INVESTIGATION.
